Sensation. Magnificent comeback. Fairy tale. Legendary performance. Super advancement. Exactly five years have passed since Slavia faced Sevilla in the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League.

Slavia kicked off a series of three preparatory matches during their training camp in Algarve with a 4-0 victory over Sønderjyske. Muhamed Tijani and Mick van Buren found the net in the first half. At halftime, the entire eleven was substituted, and Lukáš Provod and Conrad Wallem added two more goals. The match saw the debut of Diouf, Zmrzlý, Sirotník, and the freshly eighteen-year-old Lacko.

Slavia triumphed in the last game of the calendar year against Baník Ostrava with a score of 3-2. At the end of the first half-hour, Václav Jurečka opened the scoring, while Mick van Buren and Jan Bořil later orchestrated a great comeback.

Slavia secured a 2-0 victory against Hradec Králové in the round of 16 of the MOL Cup. In front of 7,608 spectators, Wallem opened the score during extra time, and in the 120th minute, Mick van Buren sealed their advancement with the second goal.

Slavia lost their first league game of 2023/24 despite a one-goal lead at the break. Mick van Buren´s goal wasn´t enough after Erik Jirka scored twice to turn the score around in the second half.

Slavia came from behind to defeat Polish champions Rakow 2-1 in the first game of the 2023/24 season. Mick van Buren scored both goals of the Red-Whites.

Mick van Buren was the only one on the scoresheet in the second friendly against Geneve. With his strike in the second half he secured a 1-0 win for Slavia.

The Unbeaten season brought more impressive numbers than just 39 games without a single loss in the domestic competitions.

Alexander Bah played 90 minutes against Sigma in his maiden game for Slavia. "The league is more physical, but I think we did well, especially in the second half," he says.
